non-healing wounds, tissue damage from radiation

What
is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
HBOT
is an exciting, rapidly growing area of
medicine that harnesses the remarkable healing
power |

pure,natural oxygen. Medical science has long
recognized that oxygen is necessary for life
and for proper healing. HBOT applies this
knowledge in a unique treatment that stimulates
the body’s own natural ability to rebuild
and repair itself and fight disease. |
“Hyper”
means increased, and “baric”
means pressure. During an HBOT treatment
session the client |
breathes
100% medical grade oxygen in a specially designed
chamber under increased atmospheric pressure.
Breathing pure oxygen under conditions of increased
atmospheric pressure super-saturates the entire
body with this life-giving substance. The level
of oxygen in the tissues increases 10 to 15 times
higher than normal, and the blood oxygen level
increases by up to 2000 %. In
essence, oxygen is infused into all body fluids
and tissues – the blood, lymph, cerebrospinal
fluid, all organs and bone - and it penetrates
areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach.
